Meet David: from intern to full-time employee in Business Intelligence

Two reasons were essential when I decided to become an intern at L’Oréal. One was the prospect of being able to learn as much as possible within the world’s leading FMCG companies. The other one was that I knew I would have a chance to convert an internship into a full-time position. Looking back, I am more than glad that I decided to join L’Oréal.

During my time, as an intern in the Business Intelligence / Sales planning department, I was able to be part of the implementation of a new IT system, which allows the consolidation of crucial business information. More importantly, it allows the digitization of existing processes and therefore eliminates tedious and redundant work that would have been done manually by an employee.

The product a company makes does not define the company; the people who work there define the company. L’Oréal has been a phenomenal place to grow and learn.

For this reason, I am happy that after my internship I still have the chance to keep doing just that as a full-time employee.
